Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has dropped four players from the squad to face Servette in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday.
They are Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana and Tosin Adarabioyo.Sterling and Chilwell were also left out of the squad that face Manchester City in their Premier League opening fixture on Sunday.
The two England players are expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
But Adarabioyo, who joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham this summer, was an unused substitute against City with Fofana playing the full 90.
Maresca’s men face Servette on Thursday night with the return leg to follow in Switzerland on August 29.
The winners of the tie will progress to the group stages of the competition.
