Shocking reports have claimed that Chelsea are interested in bringing Chelsea star Joao Felix back to the Premier League after opening talks with Atletico Madrid about a potential deal for the attacker.
After months of speculation and rumours – CHELSEA made the decision to bring Joao Felix to Stamford Bridge in the January window in hope that he could reignite the club after a poor start to the season. However – despite all the hype – Felix’s loan spell at Chelsea has come to an end after the conclusion of the 2022-23 campaign, with the 23-year-old scoring four goals in 20 Blues appearances.
He did not light up the Premier League like many people had hoped – but the Chelsea board were still keen to make him a permanent signing, with claims that they offered £88 million for the man.
However – former Blues boss Mauricio Pochettino reportedly told the board that he was not interested in signing Felix on a permanent basis as he is looking to add a more out-and-out striker to the attack, and Felix was shipped back to Madrid.
Chelsea are among the clubs taking a look at the Portuguese winger – That’s according to reports in Spain, who claim the Blues are interested in signing the ex-Chelsea man permanently from Atletico Madrid.
Atleti are said to prefer a sale this summer with Felix also keen to leave, and a price tag of £25m has been set.
As he is seemingly done at Madrid – and the likes of Manchester United and Newcastle have also been linked with a possible move.
If the reports are true – this is crazy – Felix was a huge disappointment during his first stay at CHELSEA and could be another waste of money,
