Former Italian Champions, Napoli, are on the verge of completing the signing of Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku.
Napoli have been courting the Chelsea want-away player for months now.
This pursuit came after Napoli star, Victor Osimhen expressed his interest to leave the Italian side.
Talks between both clubs are said to be accelerating at this stage.
Napoli director will meet with Chelsea in London in the next 24hrs so as to proceed and find a final solution to the transfer just over a week to transfer deadline.
Both parties are optimisitic that Lukaku wiill become a Napoli player in the next few days.
Lukaku has a release clause of about 38m Euros.
Napoli and Chelsea had, earlier, sought to negotiate a player plus cahs deal around Lukaku that would see Osimhen head the otehr way.
Chelsea, however, view both deals as separate and would only advance on a deal for the Nigerian on a loan basis as opposed to a permanent transfer this window.
