According to the report Sarr was scouted heavily by Chelsea and they recommended his signing to the club.

Chelsea have already hatched a plan to help develop Mamadou Sarr should they finalise a deal for him.
It is understood that Sarr would remain in France with Chelsea set to loan the young defender to sister club Strasbourg to work under Liam Rosenior.
