Chelsea agree deal for the transfer of a world-class winger

Chelsea starlet Diego Moreira is set to join Strasbourg on a permanent deal for around £1.7million, after the decision was made to allow the young man to leave the club this transfer window.

CHELSEA have once again been one of the most active sides in the transfer window this summer and have seen alot of players come into the club, and also alot of players leave on loan or on permanent deals.

Moreira was signed by the Chelsea board in hope that he could develop into a quality player that could have the ability to break into the first-team and play on a regular basis, but he has not quite developed enough.

Now – Moreira is set to join Strasbourg on a permanent deal for around £1.7million, and The deal for the 20-year-old to join Todd Boehly’s other club contains a buy-back clause, while simultaneously opening up a loan spot.

Look, Moreira was signed by CHELSEA at a far too young of an age – he has not been able to handle the pressures of playing for a big club like the Blues and this is why he is being sold on.

It is probably the best thing for the lad to allow him to depart the club and try to make a name for himself in the game – he was going nowhere in the reserves etc and sitting on the Bench for the Blues.

It is a shame that such a brilliant talent could not make any impact at Chelsea – but as we just said – this move should do the lad a whole world of good and he will get a chance to make a name for himself with the French side.
