It has again been claimed that Chelsea could yet become involved in the battle to sign Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi this summer window.
CHELSEA have been very active in the transfer market already this summer and have been linked with a move for Marc Guehi in recent weeks – especially as they are still seeking to improve that back-line before the start of the new season next month.
Now reporter Dean Jones has claimed that Chelsea could yet become really involved in a move to sign the defender – Dean Jones says: “But, in turn, his value is going up too – so who is going to pay upwards of £60million for him in the coming weeks? They have every reason to expect £65 million for him in the current market.
“Chelsea and Liverpool are two clubs to pay some attention to as the player now refocuses and considers what he wants next in his career. His ambition will be heightened.”
Guehi has been brilliant for Palace over the past few months and at the Euros he us showing all the big clubs that he is very happy playing against the best players at the highest level of the game.
It is a shock to see that many people believes CHELSEA shouldnt sign Guehi – we believe that he would be a brilliant signing for the club, and one that will immediately improve the clubs defence for next season.
So it will be interesting to see just how this all plays out in the coming weeks that is for sure.
