Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed a three-year deal with Napoli that is set to see him leave the Blues for good.
The CHELSEA man looks set to move away from Stamford Bridge in the current transfer window, having spent last season on loan at AS Roma, as the Blues are seemingly keen to cash in on the big Belgian star. That has led to alot of transfer speculation in the media which has claimed that a few clubs from Saudi Arabia are very much interested in trying to get a deal done for the big man – and he would be open to the idea of a big money move there.
However – according to Italian reports, Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed a three-year deal with Napoli that is set to see him leave the Blues for good.
After a staggering £97.5m move from Inter Milan back in 2021, the belgian international fell out-of-favour with then-manager Thomas Tuchel after claiming in an interview with Sky that he wanted to return to Italy after just four months back in west London.
The reports add that now the Blues may see the back of him once and for all as they’ve been meaning to offload him for a number of windows
Reporter Iomie Stanley told icfootballnews that Lukaku is done at Chelsea: ‘Lukaku had everything to be a world class striker for Chelsea – but he just couldnt handle the Premier League – it was the right decision to move back to Italy.
‘His time at CHELSEA is over and we fully expected him to stay in Italian football – if clubs are able to meet Chelsea’s massive asking price and his £300,000-a-week wages.
‘If the reports are true and he is heading to Napoli – it is a very good move for the big man to make.’
