Chelsea could repeat a transfer trick used in Romelu Lukaku exit talks to try and complete two dream signings alongside another departure. The Blues have been very active in the summer window with seven new arrivals confirmed and an eighth to follow very soon in Filip Jorgensen.
The Villareal star was identified as a potential goalkeeper addition earlier this month with Chelsea quickly wrapping up a deal that will see them pay Villareal £20.7million (€24.5m). The 22-year-old has already flown out to the United States and completed the first part of his medical. With Jorgensen to join Tosin Adarabioyo and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall as senior additions, Chelsea now look likely to pursue an attacking addition. Viktor Gyokeres, Nico Williams and Johan Bakayoko have all been linked but it looks as though it could be Victor Osimhen that joins.
Chelsea have been long-term admirers of the Nigeria international with talks between Chelsea and Napoli ongoing over a permanent exit for Lukaku which may see Osimhen head the other way on loan. Negotiations for Lukaku have been taking place for some time and Chelsea are now in talks to part ways with another senior star.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid are in direct discussions with Chelsea to sign Conor Gallagher. It has been claimed a deal is getting closer with the Blues demanding between £28.5million (€35m) and £33.7million (€40m) to sell the midfielder.
