It has again been claimed that Chelsea are interested in a shock move for Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke.
CHELSEA did struggle in front of goal at times over the course of the season, very rarely though, as Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson chipped in with a few goals are not players that can score 30 goals a season, something that is needed at Stamford Bridge.Solanke started his professional career at Chelsea after spending a decade in the academy at Stamford Bridge. He was a prolific goalscorer at youth level but was rarely given the chance for the first team.
After an unsuccessful spell at Liverpool, he has found a home at Bournemouth and is finally proving he can score goals in the Premier League. he scored 19 goals and registered three assists for Bournemouth last season
And his performances have seen him tipped to move to a ‘Bix Six’ Premier League club – with Chelsea, Arsenal and rivals Tottenham among those linked.
Solanke is available for £65m this summer and The Blues are one of the clubs interested, according to the Daily Express.
CHELSEA need to sign a striker – and Solanke is a man that could score a few goals – he said: ‘ Obviously Chelsea fans want Ivan Toney – he is the number one target for the club.
