Chelsea agree £30m fee for the transfer of a world-class player - Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano has claimed that Chelsea have set their price in order to part ways with one player this summer.

The Blues look as if they are in for another busy transfer window as they attempt to give their new manager the best possible starting block for a successful tenure at Stamford Bridge.

Enzo Maresca was yesterday officially announced as the new head coach at Chelsea, and the length of his contract suggests there is a real backing of his prospects.

He has reportedly impressed the board with a number of factors, however notably having a plan to succeed that revolves around former record signing Enzo Fernandez.

The Italian is coming in to a stacked squad full of talented young players, with a lot of those returning from loan spells away.

One of those is Omari Hutchinson, who spent last season impressing at Ipswich Town in their promotion campaign from the Championship.

It was reported that he was returning to train with Chelsea straight after his own season was over, with Mauricio Pochettino reportedly keen to take a look at him.

Omari Hutchinson up for sale

However, Romano has now claimed on Twitter that the Blues are open to a permanent sale of the winger this summer.

He said: “EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea won’t loan out Omari Hutchinson again this summer. Permanent deal, only way. Chelsea would only consider bids around £25/30m for Omari.

“Understand Stuttgart are pushing a lot to sign him, favourites — with more clubs in PL, Ajax and Feyenoord also keen.”

The Blues are blessed for young talent in the right wing position at the moment, with Noni Madueke holding down that place for the latter stages of last season.

It has been reported that they could well be in the market for a new player in that role too, with Michael Olise being mentioned as a potential transfer target after their interest in bringing him in nearly resulted in a move last summer.
