Chelsea fans already taken decision on Mauricio Pochettino's replacement at Stamford Bridge

It is clear to see that a lot of Chelsea fans are not happy with Mauricio Pochettino right now and are dissatisfied with the job he has done at Stamford Bridge so far.

Chelsea threw away a 1-0 lead against Brentford yesterday, going on to draw 2-2 with their west London rivals. As a result, the Blues still remain in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

Not impressed with what they saw from Mauricio Pochettino and his team at the Gtech Community Stadium, some supporters started chanting Jose Mourinho‘s name, claims Evening Standard journalist Nizaar Kinsella.

Mourinho is available to hire after his dismissal from AS Roma in January.

According to journalist Simon Phillips, the 61-year-old would welcome the opportunity to replace Pochettino if it presented itself.

Mourinho is not working for anyone right now and is obviously a Chelsea legend after all he won at the club during his two spells there, so it is no surprise that some supporters are calling for his return.

Unlike Pochettino, who came from Chelsea’s fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Mourinho has a deep connection with the Blues.

And of course, the team are really struggling under the Argentine right now, so some fans are clearly thinking about a solution.

Mourinho, though, did not do great at his last two clubs in England, getting sacked at both Tottenham and Manchester United. He is clearly not the manager he once was, so Todd Boehly and Co could be taking a risk on him.

But if Chelsea get any worse under Pochettino, then they are going to have to get rid of the former Paris Saint-Germain boss, and Mourinho’s availability makes him a natural name to consider. Appointing the Portuguese may also appease some supporters who are starting to get angry with the club’s new ownership.
