French manager Zinedine Zidane has reportedly chosen his next destination as the 2023/24 is going towards it’s end. The 51-year old is jobless since March 2021 after his second stint at the Santiago Bernabéu ended with not much success like the first one.
So far, Zidane has been linked with France national team role but he deal fell through with Didier Deschamps extending his contract after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He went on rejecting Chelsea and Manchester United jobs and Liverpool as well as he is not intending to coach in England due to the language barrier.
Now, German media Bild reports that the former French midfielder has “made a serious inquiry” about Bayern Munich over a possible move next summer as Thomas Tuchelwill leave the club at the end of this club.
Zidane is said to be interested in the job but Bayern Munich officials’ first option is Bayer Levrkusen’s Xabi Alonso.
It should be reminded that nothing is done at this stage between different parties but Bayern is a serious option for Zidane.
