One new Chelsea arrival is reportedly coming into the club in order to complete one of the most important tasks under the new ownership so far.
This is according to an exclusive report this afternoon, right ahead of Chelsea’s big game at Aston Villa this evening in the FA Cup replay.According to sources over at Football Insider today, Todd Kline has left Tottenham to join Chelsea and work on their plans to build a new stadium.
Spurs announced on Monday morning that Kline, the club’s Chief Commercial Officer, had resigned. It was then soon reported by Chelsea sources that he will be joining the club after spending some time on gardening leave.
It is understood, as per the report above, that Kline’s new role at Chelsea will include working on their plans to construct a new stadium.
This is going to be one of the most important tasks that the Chelsea ownership group undertake and could be the real difference maker for future revenue.
