Mauricio Pochettino breaks bad news to Chelsea fans ahead Man City clash

In anticipation of their Premier League clash against Manchester City, Chelsea aims to capitalize on their recent 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Despite being at the bottom of the table, Mauricio Pochettino's side eyes a potential climb if they secure a win against the formidable Manchester City this weekend.

Addressing the media on Friday, Pochettino disclosed that the experienced Thiago Silva will be sidelined due to a minor injury. Pochettino emphasized, "Thiago Silva also has a minor injury; he is not available. We need to assess day by day."

This development comes on the heels of Thiago Silva's return to the team against Crystal Palace, following a brief stint on the bench attributed to his wife, Bella's social media comments. Bella had criticized Chelsea's performance in their defeat to Wolves last month, prompting Pochettino to reinstate the player after a private conversation.

Despite Bella's subsequent apology for her earlier remarks, Pochettino remains focused on navigating Chelsea through the upcoming challenge against Manchester City without the experienced defender, Thiago Silva.
