Bad news to Chelsea despite beating Fulham 1-0 at Stamford Bridge

BeinSports touchline reported Carrie Brown is reporting some interesting news from full time in the Chelsea Fulham game.

She says that defender Thiago Silva went down the tunnel and into the interview room “clutching his arm,” which doesn’t sound good.

The defender really put him body on the line in the closing stages as Fulham pushed all their players forward for set piece after set piece. We didn’t see the incident that may have caused it, but there were numerous blocks and leaps from the Brazilian that could had led to a nasty fall.

We will get more from Mauricio Pochettino in his post match press conference – if anyone asks him a decent question, that is. The only good news is that Benoit Badiashile returned to the bench today as a potential alternative to Silva, or Ben Chilwell – who returned to action today – could play at left back with Levi Colwill moved centrally.
