Chelsea fans shower accolades on star player despite losing to Everton

Mykhailo Mudryk was a big talking point within the Chelsea fanbase after his performance in Sunday’s defeat at Everton.

The Blues had a chance to respond to the poor midweek loss against Manchester United, but it was more disappointment on the road for them.

Abdoulaye Doucoure and Lewis Dobbin netted second-half goals for Everton to give them a 2-0 win over Chelsea at Goodison Park.

It means that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are down to 12th in the Premier League table after yet another setback.

Mykhailo Mudryk, 22, was heavily involved this afternoon despite Chelsea failing to find a breakthrough.

In particular, the left-winger really came to life during the second-half. He was let down by teammates on a couple of occasions after creating opportunities in the final third.

Mozo Football shared via X that Mudryk created more chances (five) than any other player on the pitch today.

There’s no doubt that there is still so much the Ukraine international can improve in terms of the decisive moments, but perhaps slowly by slowly things are heading in the right way.
