Chelsea are considering making a move for Manchester United star, Raphael Varane, according to a report by journalist, Simon Phillips.
Reports say that the centre-back may be available for sale in January.
Varane could come in as an option for Chelsea if Thiago Silva decides to leave at the end of the season.
Silva has less than a year remaining on his contract, and it isn’t certain whether he will renew or not.
The Blues want some experience at the back, and Varane, who previously played for both Real Madrid and the France national team seems to fit the profile they’re looking for.
It is also claimed that Chelsea are aware of Varane’s poor injury record, but they are not worried about it.
