Paul O Keefe has confirmed that Tottenham left-back Destiny Udogie will not be available for the clash against Chelsea.
Udogie picked up an injury against Fulham. He was substituted in the 55th minute after experiencing discomfort related to muscle tightness. While Udogie’s injury was not considered severe, he was sidelined for the game against Crystal Palace with the expectations that he would make it for the game against Chelsea.
However, as per Paul O Keefe revealed the latest regarding the injury if the 20-year-old.
As per him, it is more than muscle tightness and more to do with ankle ligaments which usually takes two weeks to recover from.
Udogie is only eight days in and will be out of the game against Chelsea.
While Ange suggested it is going to be a 50-50 on the Italian, it is very much likely that he won’t be playing
“Told Destiny Udogie’s injury problem is ankle ligaments. He’s 8 days in, at best it’s normally 2 weeks recovery for minor issues. Monday in the balance obviously. Ange stated 50-50”

Ben Davies is also out with a knock which means Emerson Royal will most likely be starting at left-back against Chelsea.
Emerson Royal was the first choice right-back for Spurs for a long time until Porro came and took the spot from him.
While offensively he is not the most threatening, he is a decent defender and Chelsea could use that against the pace from the wings against Chelsea.
But regardless, Udogie would definitely be a huge miss for Ange Postecoglou.
