Chelsea are considering cancelling the ongoing loan agreement with Nottingham Forest for Andrey Santos, according to the Mirror.
The 19-year-old joined Steve Cooper’s side during the summer transfer window after what was a very impressive outing for the Blues during pre-season.It was expected that the Brazilian would play well at Forest to aid his development, but that hasn’t been the case. Instead, he has been limited to just a seven-minute cameo, which came against Liverpool while Cooper’s men were already 3-0 down.
Chelsea have had a chat about Santos’ situation with Forest before, and were promised things would improve, but that hasn’t been the case.
The Blues are now thinking of recalling the midfielder, and that could happen in January, with a host of clubs said to be interested in him.
Santos is one of the many promising talents at Chelsea, and it’s sad to see he’s not being appreciated enough at his loan club
