The Chelsea hierarchy have agreed on a price to sell Romelu Lukaku in the summer.
Lukaku is currently on loan at Italian club, AS Roma, where he has impressed since the start of the 2023-24 season. The 30-year-old already has nine goals from 14 matches for Roma, and last weekend, netted four goals, as Belgium beat Azerbaijan 5-0 to seal a place in the 2024 European Championship.
According to the London Evening Standard, Chelsea have set a price of £37m for Lukaku. It’s a significant drop from the £97.5m he was signed for from Inter Milan back in 2021, but the club will take it, considering that he is no longer in the manager’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
Roma are expected to try to sign Lukaku permanently, although they may have to sell a player to raise the funds required for the striker.
