Chelsea star player, Reece James has now taken to social media to send a message to the fans of the Stamford Bridge outfit.
He took to Instagram to thank those who have continued to stick by him despite his various injury woes in the last few years. It is currently unclear whether James is going to be able to play this weekend when the Blues welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge.
In what will easily be the biggest test of the season for them, having their captain fit and firing will be a huge boost.
However, it was reported just yesterday that at some stage recently he had suffered a setback, which had forced him to be training alone.
Nevertheless, pictures from Chelsea training emerged that showed him with his teammates as they do their final prep for the London derby.
James sends Chelsea fans message
He was not the only previously injured star to be seen there. Axel Disasi, Cole Palmer and Benoit Badiashile were all present with the group.
James took to Instagram last night to share a message with Chelsea fans, taking the opportunity to thank them for their support.
He said: “Thanks to the people that were patient with me.”
While nothing is confirmed from this in terms of whether he will feature or not on Saturday, it is definitely a positive sign that he is talking in the past tense here.
It may be a case of sitting and waiting until Mauricio Pochettino holds his pre-match press conference tomorrow to get a bigger insight into whether he will actually be able to play.
If not, the position will likely be filled by either Marc Cucurella or the returning Malo Gusto, after he missed the last three games through suspension.
