Todd Boehly has already spent about £1bn on transfers since he took over ownership of Chelsea, but the American doesn’t looki like he’s slowing down any time soon.
According to emerging reports, Boehly is looking to continue his spending spree when the transfer window reopens in January. The Blues have assembled a decent team of very talented youngsters, but the striking department is one area that remains of some concern to both Mauricio Pochettino and the owners.
According to football.london, that could however change in January, as Todd Boehly has listed Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as a player he wants to sign in January.
The Nigerian is contracted to Napoli until 2025, and the Italian club are preparing to make him a new contract offer, but they may be open to selling him if he wants to leave.
Osimhen is reportedly valued at £140m, which is an enormous amount of money. However, if we know anything about Boehly, it is that he doesn’t care about price if he believes a player is worth it.
