Chelsea have emerged as one of the busiest in the ongoing summer transfer window and now they have agreed personal terms with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Spanish source Diario Sport reports.
The Blues have offered the Gabonese a three-year deal with a salary bigger than what he currently receives at Barcelona.
If he signs the deal, it would mean he would leave Chelsea at the age of 36. The forward is happy with the terms offered and a chance to ‘retire at the highest level’.
Diario Sport add that nothing is agreed between the Blues and Barca yet. Chelsea are offering a €30m package: €19m cash plus Marcos Alonso, valued at €11m.
The Catalans do not agree with this valuation of Alonso, having previously agreed to sign him on a separate deal on a lower price. So they demand Chelsea increase their offer.
