Good news to Chelsea as Declan Rice reveals his next move

England international midfielder Declan Rice has made it clear that he will only sign a new deal with West Ham United if it includes a release clause, according to the reports.

The midfielder was subject to strong transfer rumours throughout the transfer window, however, ended up staying at the London Stadium.

Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and Liverpool are reportedly all interested in securing the services of the England international, who scored his second goal for his national team on Thursday night against Hungary.

90min reports that 22-year-old midfielder, whose current contract with the West Ham United expires in 2024, would be willing to sign an extension, however, only if a release clause was inserted which would allow him to depart if it was met.

The report claims that while Rice is fully concentrated on the year ahead, he expects this campaign to be his last in claret and blue. Meanwhile, the report suggests that West Ham United have a rule of not including release clauses in the deal, making the prospect of a new deal unlikely.
