Two Chelsea players score for their country in four goals thriller on Wednesday
This is a good news for Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel that his two players were on the score sheet for their countries as the international break comes to a close.
Chelsea star, Antonio Rudiger and Timo Werner scored in Germany’s 4:0 victory over Iceland in their World Cup qualifier clash today.
Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane and Timo Werner were also on target for the away side.Germany took a 2:0 lead in the first half through Gnabry in the 4th minutes and Rudiger in the 24th minutes, assisted by Joshua Kimmich.
In the second half, Leroy Sane added the third goal in the 56th minutes and Timo Werner sealed the victory late in the 88th minutes, assisted by Kai Havertz.Antonio Rudiger is a key member of Thomas Tuchel’s do set-up at present, but he is linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with less than 12 months remaining in his contract with the Blues.
According to Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel “If he wants to have a new contract, he has our full support to stay at the club. He has been amazing since day one.
