BREAKING: Barcelona star player signs five-year deal with London club

Last day rush has continued as there have been massive signings in the ongoing summer transfer window with deadline today.

Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Barcelona right-back Emerson Royal on a five-year contract deal.Emerson Junior, better known as Emerson Royal, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Brazil national team.

The Brazil international completed a medical on Tuesday morning after the clubs had earlier reached an agreement over a €30million (£25.7m) fee.

The right-back has signed a contract with Tottenham Hotspur until 2026 and will wear the No12 shirt.

Emerson has only just returned to the club after a three-season spell on loan with Real Betis where he excelled under Manuel Pellegrini.The signing of the Brazilian player now means that Tottenham has four right-backs at the club after so far failing to find moves for Serge Aurler and Matt Doherty.
