Chelsea are reportedly determined to secure more additions before the transfer window as Thomas Tuchel looks to challenge for major trophies while also mounting champions league title defence.

Already the Blues have made two summer signings with a record summer arrival to secure former Chelsea prodigy, Inter Milan and Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku at a fee of €97.5m.

The London outfit has experienced massive departures including Olivier Giroud to AC Millan, striker Tammy Abraham to Roma and a number of academy players securing loan move as they look to balance the books.

Reports indicate that the Champions of Europe are looking to strengthen key areas with the defence role and midfielder position top of the German tactician top list.

And according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are in direct talks to sign Sevilla and France international defender Jules Kounde with a new bid expected. In turn they are looking to offload Kurt Zouma with Westham is likely destination.
