Lionel Messi finally reveals the club he will join after parting ways with Barcelona
Lionel Messi has said he will have no qualms about joining Barcelona’s rivals as he eyes another Champions League title.
In his final press conference as a Barca player on Sunday, Messi vowed he will “fight to win everything” for his next club.
The 34-year-old admitted that a move to Paris Saint-Germain is “a possibility” and outlined his intention to win a fifth Champions League title, even if it means beating Barcelona.
When asked if he would have qualms about joining one of the Blaugrana’s rivals, Messi responded: “People know me, they know I am competitive.
“I want to keep winning. In my last years, I want to fight for titles.”
Messi then said he would “fight to win everything” wherever he ends up this summer and sent his congratulations to former teammate Dani Alves, who won Olympic gold with Brazil at Tokyo 2020 on Saturday
