Roman Abramovich makes final decision on signing Lionel Messi for Chelsea
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has decided to bid for departing Barcelona striker Lionel Messi this summer transfer.
According to reports from Sky Sports UK that Abramovich on Friday afternoon requested an urgent meeting with Messi’s agent as he wants to secure the service for the Argentine skipper before the end of August.
The report also claimed that Roman decided after seeing Manchester City hang up to land Lionel.
Earlier recall that Pep Guardiola confirmed that the club would not sign Messi because they have already spent £100m on Jack Grealish.
