The game has been won and lost as Afc Bournemouth hosted Chelsea at the Vitality stadium in a cracking preseason friendly on Tuesday evening.

Thomas Tuchel named a strong Xi against the Cherries as he looked to secure a morale boosting victory for his side.The game began with Chelsea seeing more of the ball although they were unable to utilize it with striker Tammy Abraham guilty of missing many chances.

Bournemouth also went close a few times too with Welsh winger David Brooks causing all sorts of problems for the blues defence. There would be no goals in the first half of the game however as both sides went into the interval without breaking the deadlock.Both sides made a couple of changes in the second half of the game as they looked to seal a win in the game.

Bournemouth looked like they wanted the win more than the blues and they got their reward midway through the second half as Emiliano Marcondes put the championship side up front in 67th minute.Chelsea would rally round the troops in a bid to get themselves back in the game and the blues would do just that as substitute Borja turned in a fine cross from Rahman Baba. That equalizer gave Thomas Tuchel’s men the much needed morale and it didn’t take long before they put themselves in front as Nigerian born attacker Ike Ugbo scored in the 76th minute.The game would end in that manner as neither sides were unable to add to their tally on the night as Chelsea took home an impressive 2-1 victory.

Despite the blues having staged a comeback in the game to secure a 2-1 win, some fans of were quite unhappy with the performance of striker Tammy who missed alot of chances in the game and they took to social media to express their frustration on the English man.Here’s how fans reacted to performance Tammy Abraham’s poor performance today.
