Good news to Thomas Tuchel, according to reports from Andreas Korrsund, corroborated by Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, the blues are reported to have submitted an attractive contract offer to Inter Milan and Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku as they are keen to bring him at Stamford Bridge this summer.The blues are reported to be viewing the 28 year old as an alternative to Norway and Borrusia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland who has played hard to get after his club placed a huge price tag of almost £150 million for any club wishing to sign him this summer.
The former Manchester United striker is however likely to turn down the contract offer after the star reported previously that he is happy at Milan and would like to extend his stay with the club, having help his side win the Scudetto last season.
Chelsea are keen for a striker this summer who can replace the unconvincing Timo Werner as they are desperate to make their attacking line more clinical and sharp next season.
