CONFIRMED: World-class striker agreed deal with Chelsea
Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea are still in the lookout for a striker over the summer, with Dortmund’s Erling Haaland being their top target.
Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Norwegian over a while now, but Dortmund’s stance over a staggering £150million price-tag has been a huge concern for the Blues, who are eager to secure his signature before next season.Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was said to have released funds for Haaland’s move but the Premier League giants would have to offload a number of players according to Financial Fair Play rules.
With that been said, Olivier Giroud has joined AC Milan, with Billy Gilmour moving to Norwich on loan and Marc Guehi is also set to join Crystal Palace permanently with more outgoings also expected.
Those deals will at least generate some money for Haaland, meanwhile the Daily Mail are reporting that Chelsea young attacker Armando Broja has agreed a new five-year contract to stay at Stamford Bridge. The 19-year old forward had an Impressive loan spell at Vitesse last campaign, netting 11 goals in all competitions for the Dutch club.
Broja’s current deal expires at the end of next season but Chelsea have been working hard to tie him down to new contract which is proving to be successful, with an announcement expected in the next few days
