The Champions League holders are actually back in action this afternoon as they face Peterborough United in a behind closed doors friendly at the club’s Cobham training base.
However, there will be no new signings on show.
That’s not to say the Blues aren’t trying to bolster Thomas Tuchel’s first-team squad as high on the list of targets is Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland. The Norwegian has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge throughout the summer and we will bring you the latest on that deal.
Meanwhile, there are also set to be plenty of exits from the club, too. Fikayo Tomori has already departed to join AC Milan and will soon be joined at the San Siro by Olivier Giroud.
We will be keeping an eye out on all of the latest comings and goings throughout the day so ensure you stick with it for our Chelsea news and gossip.
Levy prefers Kane to Chelsea
Whilst Chelsea have been focused on Erling Haaland, Harry Kane still remains an option.
Intriguingly, Daniel Levy would apparently prefer selling the England captain to Chelsea in what would be a cash-plus-player deal.
That is according to The Athletic who suggest that whilst that could be the case, a formal offer is yet to be tabled.

Thomas Tuchel appears to be making his first moves to bring Declan Rice to Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to Dean Jones, the Blues have made an “informal enquiry” to West Ham regarding the signing of the England international.
Frank Lampard was thought to be a huge admirer of the midfielder, with Tuchel then renewing that interest.

Haaland ‘signed’
Erling Haaland is Chelsea’s primary target for the striker position this summer, ahead of Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku and Tottenham’s Harry Kane, so this transfer saga could be one to watch over the next few weeks and months.
So, what could happen if Chelsea did pull off the signing of Erling Haaland this summer ahead of next season?
And, what kind of impact could Haaland have at the club next season should the transfer happen?
Well, we ‘signed’ the 20-year-old for Chelsea on Football Manager to find out exactly what the results would be.

Giroud deal to be announced
The Frenchman’s transfer to AC Milan hasn’t been confirmed yet officially, but his latest post on social media signifies the end is very near for Olivier Giroud at Chelsea.
