Cheslea board working to complete £27m deal for highly rated Italian player
According to reports from II Romanista, Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia is plotting to make a move for Italian midfielder Gianluka Mancini who is reported to be worth £27 million in the transfer market.AS Roma are reported to be undergoing through a tough financial crisis and they are expected to put on sale some of their first team players in which Mancini is said to be one of them.
However, Chelsea are planning to offer their 26 year old French defender, Kurt Zouma as part of the deal to land the Italian defender since they are keen to pay low amount of the expected fee by the La Pupa.Zouma has been struggling for game time under manager Thomas Tuchel since the German international was preferring a central partnership of Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger, as he was only available as a substitute player.
Mancini, 25, still have three years left on his contract at the Stadio Olympico and has been impressive since joining AS Roma two years ago, scoring five goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
