Manchester United might have misled their fans to think that the club had finally learned their lessons when it came to transfers. The club acted swiftly to land England highly rated winger Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. This move was lauded but it now appears to be a false dawn for the club. This is after the club continues to waste time in making an offer for players such as Rafael Varane and Eduardo Camavinga. It has now emerged that their blunders will land them in big trouble. This is after news emerged that Chelsea are set to hijack United protracted move for French international Eduardo Camavinga from Rennes to strengthen their midfield.United were thought to be the front runners in the deal but have wasted time in making an offer. Chelsea on the other hand are looking to find a younger replacement for N’golo Kante and have identified Camavinga as the player to fill those shoes. They have already contacted Rennes with an offer which is hard to reject.Chelsea and Rennes have a good working relationship through their former player Peter Cech who is the footballing director for The Blues. Through him Chelsea were able to bring in Eduardo Mendy who has been sensational for the Blues. Now they want to beat their rivals for the signature of one of the most in demand player in Europe. United don’t seem to learn. This is how they also lost Eden Hazard to Chelsea. History will repeat itself if they are not careful.
