Chelsea agree terms with Erling Haaland but still need one step to sign him
The Blues are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund’s foward Erling Haaland as one of their summer top target. Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is still yet to make his first signing in since joining the club back in January. According to reports, the club has already agreed terms with the Dortmund’s centre-foward but will have to cash out more finance to acquire his signature.
The Norwegian is poised to cost more than £100million, and it remains to be seen whether or not Tuchel’s side will have the finances available to sign him alongside other targets. Haaland scored a staggering 41 goals in 41 appearances last season.Chelsea believe that he is the player that is missing from their squad and thus should land at the Stamford Bridge sooner. More positive news revealed that the 20-year-old has admitted he doesn’t want to get too comfortable in his career. During an interview with Icon magazine, cited by The Telegraph, Haaland said he has been taking a couple of steps over the past few years and he thinks they have been good steps for him. He noted that personally he need to get out of his comfort zone and develop even more.
