Chelsea are yet to complete any signing this summer. The Blues are still ripping the success from last summer signings that Frank Lampard recruited. The incoming of Thomas Tuchel has brought a different perspective on whom they should sign for a particular position. Generally, Chelsea struggled to have a consistent striker last season. As the new season awaits, Tuchel wants to register a clinical striker who will fit into his favored system. Further to the overhowl, the Blues want to add another holding midfielder who will release Jorginho from heavy duty.Chelsea have progressed well in the dealings for the two positions. Erling Halaand is the preferred striker signing in the wishlist. Chelsea have reportedly submitted their first official bid to Borrussia Dortmund. Halaand is valued at £150 million but the club is not under any pressure to sell the player. The player however is understood to be ready to join Chelsea this summer and urges the parties to find agreement over the transfer.Chelsea have also received a huge boost in the chase of Declan Rice. The Westham skipper has attracted the attention of Chelsea for a long time. Marina is convinced to bring the England midfielder back to Stamford Bridge. Rice has rejected two contract offers from Westham to extend his deal. He seems to crave Champions League football. The Blues don’t want to pay more than £50 million for him and are working behind the doors to sign him.
