According to various reports, the West London side Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing AS Roma defender this summer.
The Italian international has been in a tremendous form for his country side in the current European Championship tournament and has attracted the attention of the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea.However, it seems as if Euros is living up to his name as we’re seeing new star are emerging from every game. One such name is Leonardo spinazzola .
Chelsea are keen on strengthening their wing back option after the German tactician Thomas Tuchel switched to back three. With the likes of Marcus Alonso and Emerson Palmieri likely to move away, Thomas Tuchel wants the 28-year-old Spinazzola to compete with the England international fullback Ben Chilwell.
However, Chelsea will have to be cautious though as Real Madrid have also shown interest on the fullback.
The 28-year old stocks will rise further as Italy progresses to the quater-finals of Euros 2020.
Spinazzola will get more chances to impress and that will likely shoot up any asking price AS Roma have in mind, the Italian looks a real deal and Chelsea should try and push for his signature.
