Chelsea board ready to complete £40m summer transfer of star player

Champions League winners Chelsea are busy in the transfer market, seeking to improve their squad ahead of next season’s race for the EPL title and defending the UEFA trophy.

Thomas Tuchel has achieved a lot in less than a year in charge of the Blues and the board will be backing him up in the transfers to build from his last season success after offering him a long term deal at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have been linked with several big names recently with a prolific striker and Right back the major areas of concern for the German Tactician to work on.

However, out of Favour English forward Tammy Abraham is edging closer to a move away from Stamford Bridge and has attracted several clubs for his signature.

According to Mirror Football, Aston Villa is ready to bid for the star for £40m, a value Chelsea won’t think twice accepting and letting the player leave amid interests from Crystal Palace and West Ham United.
