Good news from Stamford Bridge as highly rated playmaker takes transfer decision to stay at Chelsea
With the transfer market still open many deals are expected to be completed across Europe. Players representatives will be looking and listening for a suitable offer for the players they are representing in the transfer window.Chelsea midfielder Jorginho who is on international duty with his country at the 2020 European championships, has been assured by his agent that he will continue at Chelsea next season, despite offers coming in for the Italian defensive midfielder who recently won the uefa champions league with Chelsea last campaign.
Joao Santos who represents a couple of players in Europe, spoke to the media in a recent interview. He made it clear that Jorginho attracted other clubs who made enquires about the services of the Italian, but it was nothing serious. Read what he said below.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos: “Obviously he (Jorginho) won the UCL and so there are enquiries from top teams in Europe. But in my opinion, he will stay at Chelsea. Because the next goal is to play the World Cup with Italy. By staying at Chelsea he has great chances of doing so”
Personally I think this is a good news for me fans, because a player of Jorginho’s quality and calibre are rare to find in modern day football. The way he dictates and control the tempo of the game, losing Jorginho to a rival top European club will be a huge loss.
