According to football, London reports, Chelsea has identified Declan Rice alternative this summer. The reports indicate that Chelsea is interested in signing Yves Bissouma.Brighton’s chief executive has indicated that the club is willing to let the player leave this summer only if the right bid is submitted. Bissouma has also been linked with a move to Arsenal. However, Chelsea can have the upper hand supposed they decide to join the race to sign the world-class defensive midfielder. This is because they can offer him Champions League football while Arsenal will only be offering him Premier League football.
Chelsea is facing stiff competition from the Premier League runners up to Manchester United who is also interested in bringing the England star to Old Trafford.
Tuchel is keen on signing a defensive midfielder who will partner up with N’Golo Kante in the defensive midfield role next season. The Brighton star would be a perfect player in case they fail to sign Declan Rice from West Ham.
