“I’m not happy”, Eden Hazard reacts to Chelsea winning Champions League
Former Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard insists he did not celebrate Chelsea’s Football Club winning the Champions League and is keen to see his own club Real Madrid, reclaim the trophy from his former club next season.The London side beat the reigning Premier League Champions Manchester City by one goal to nill in Porto, after a sublime pass by Mason Mount to set up Kai Havertz for the goal on Saturday.
Before Chelsea qualified for the Champions League Final they had to knock out Hazard’s Real Madrid in the semi-finals, which he received a lot of criticism for joking with his former teammates.So, when he was asked by a sports presenter if he is happy Chelsea won the Champions League.
He said “Of course not, I’m a Real Madrid player so I am not happy,” Hazard continues by saying, “I am just happy for a couple of friends in the team, but I hope next season it’s for Real Madrid.”It’s understandable for Eden Hazard not to be happy with the success of his former club because the last time he showed it publicly he was criticized for it.
