Chelsea board are reportedly ready to offer Borussia Dortmund £80m for Jadon Sancho as Thomas Tuchel is ready to build his own squad.

Manchester United’s hopes of signing Borussia Dortmund and England forward Jadon Sancho could be under threat, as reports claim that Chelsea are planning a bid for the player.

The Blues are said to be preparing a £80m offer to Dortmund for the talented player and would want to add him to their roster before the kick-off of the European Championships.

Blues manager, Thomas Tuchel, is said to be a huge fan of the player and would do anything to see that he signs him.

The Blues could have an advantage in the race to sign the player, as reports claim that Sancho is a boyhood fan of Chelsea.

This development, pundits believe, could go a long way in determining where the English man ends up.

Sancho has managed to net in 14 goals in 19 appearances for Dortmund in all competitions this season, despite missing seven weeks due to injury.

This is coming after the England striker reportedly told Spurs that he wishes to leave the club by the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur have placed a hefty £150m asking-price on the prolific goalscorer and are not willing to accept anything less.

United offering Lingard seems a logical move, as this could prove beneficial to both parties in a way, as Spurs would get an in-form player in Lingard and United would get their man at a reduced price.
