Tottenham have reportedly given a cryptic response to reports about Harry Kane’s future with Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City all circling ahead of the summer transfer window. Spurs face a battle on their hands to keep their prized asset heading into next season.

Kane still has three years left on his contract and Daniel Levy will almost certainly bat away any bids he deems as unacceptable.

It’s been suggested that Tottenham would only consider selling if offers in the region of £150million came in.

But there have been murmurs over the past 18 months about Kane’s disappointement at the club failing to challenge for trophies.

Spurs did manage to reach the Carabao Cup final, but they lost to Manchester City with the wait for the first piece of silverware since 2008 lingering on.

And Sky Sports now report that Kane has informed Tottenham that he wants to leave this summer to seek a new challenge.

It is claimed that City, United and Chelsea have already made contact with Kane’s representatives to sound out a possible move.

And Spurs have given a brief comment to Sky Sports in response to the report about Kane’s future.

The statement read: “Our focus is on finishing the season as strongly as possible.

“That’s what everyone should be focused on.”
