Good news to Man United as Cavani signs new contract at Old Trafford

Good news at Old Trafford as Manchester United striker Edison Cavani have signed a new contract with the club according to popular journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Cavani joined Manchester United on a free transfer in the summer transfer window and have been a great addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team.

The 34 years old striker have been impressive for Manchester United with 8 goals and three assist in his last seven games for the club.

The Uruguay International fired Manchester United to the Europa league cup final and helped United in maintaining the second position on the league table.

Cavani will now stay with Manchester United for another season and his new contract will expire by June 22.

Manchester United next premier league match will be against Liverpool on Thursday night at Old Trafford.

Cavani will be hoping to have his first Silverware for Manchester United when they play the Europa league cup final against Villarreal by month end.
