Sources have it that Chelsea have recently completed the signing of young English striker by name Jayden Wareham. He was signed from Woking FC and is 17-years of age. He is currently Chelsea’s 10th striker while counting from the senior team to the U-18 team.
These others strikers are
Senior team: Giroud, Timo Werner,Tammy Abraham and Batsuayi.
U-23 team: Armado Broja, Soonsup-Bell and Peart-Harris.
U-18 team: Nunn,Fiabema and Jayden Wareham.
Jayden recently passed a trial at Chelsea and then the blues declared interest in signing him. He will not join the senior team anytime soon because he will first of impress in the U-18 team before progressing to U-23 and then finally the senior team. Many Chelsea youngsters passed through this process especially the ones signed from other academies like Billy Gilmour.
Jayden is indirectly, the first player that has been signed under the reign of Thomas Tuchel although the German manager did not make a direct request for him. Jayden’s stats in Woking FC is not quite impressive as a striker although he was never a starter, he scored only 2 goals in 14 appearances. The blues have produced many top players and they will also teach this striker many important strategies that will favour his football career.
