Chelsea Board to finalize transfer deal for midfielder

Today is the deadline day in the January transfer window, Football clubs and players are looking to finalize their deals before the end of the day.

Chelsea midfield star,Billy Gilmour is eager to leave Stamford bridge on loan before the january transfer window shuts.

The young Scottish midfielder is yet to feature for the blues since the appointment of german coach, Thomas Tuchel after he replaced Frank Lampard at Stamford bridge last month.

And with the Euro’s coming up in the summer,Billy Gilmour fancies a move away from Chelsea inorder to cement a place in Scotland’s team for the Euro’s.

And according to reports,Billy Gilmour could leave west London on loan today with West Ham and Bournemouth having been previously linked with the youngster.

But the daily Mail have now reported that Billy Gilmour is in talks over a potential loan move to Southampton.

The Saints are believed to be looking for competition in midfield for the second half of the Premier League season and Billy Gilmour will certainly bring that into their team.

Billy Gilmour is highly competitive in midfield and a fighter,but his chances of him breaking into the Chelsea first team is little,with Thomas Tuchel preferring Kovacic and Jorginho in midfield ahead of him.

And with french superstar,N’golo Kanye back from training,Gilmour have received yet another blow to his playing chances under Thomas Tuchel.
