Chelsea Transfer News: Board to pay more for the signing of goal machine from Bundesliga

Chelsea board has determined to sign the top striker from Bundesliga by all means as there are other clubs clamouring for the signature of the same striker.

The Blues are looking to head into the transfer market once again over the summer in order to reenforce Frank Lampard’s side.

The Blues are looking to offload a number of players from the squad to accommodate new arrivals. West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for the past few months, but latest reports suggest the West London club are now looking for a prolific striker to replace possible outgoing Olivier Giroud.

Speculations are claiming that Chelsea have made Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland their top summer target and will try hijack a deal from other clubs by offering more than his release clause.
The 20-year old has been in spectacular form since arriving at Dortmund and has scored 12 goals in just 11 Bundesliga games so far this season.
A huge scramble to sign him was expected to happen in 18 month’s time, by the end of the 2021/22 campaign, when his £66.6million release clause becomes active.
And according to The Sun, Chelsea are trying to jump ahead of their transfer rivals by offering a staggering fee this summer – a year before his buyout clause becomes active.

The Blues are willing to release a club record fee in order to lure Haaland to Stamford Bridge, with a bid around £100million likely needed to sign him away from Dortmund.
