Done deal, former Barcelona star to Chelsea, transfer updates for PSG, Arsenal, Man United and more

January transfer window is currently going on as many done deals have now been recorded and more updates are still coming.

Olympic Marseille have signed Pol Lirola from Fiorentina on loan with an option to buy for €12m.

Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have extended the loan deal of Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert until the end of the season.

Manchester United

Manchester United are interested in signing Romain Faivre – but they face stern competition from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brest midfielder, who signed for the Ligue 1 side from Monaco last summer transfer window, has caught the eye this campaign with four goals and three assists in 19 matches.

He recently penned a new contract until June 2025 and his value has skyrocketed, having joined Les Pirates for just £450,000 last year.

And, according to Le10 Sport, a host of sides are keen on Faivre with the Red Devils and the Parisians said to be watching him.

Arsenal

Arsenal could allegedly recall Lucas Torreira from his loan stint at Atletico Madrid in order to send the Uruguay international to Fiorentina for the second half of the 2020-21 term.

The 24-year-old midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements at the club over the summer and subsequently joined Atletico, but the South American has struggled for regular action at the Wanda Metropolitano outfit.

A recent report stated that the Gunners are considering ending the player’s stay with Diego Simeone’s side because of his lack of football.

According to Mundo Deportivo, La Viola have emerged as suitors for the former Sampdoria ace, with the Italian outfit ready to offer him regular football in the second half of the term

Chelsea

Chelsea have joined a number of top clubs in tracking the progress of former Barcelona academy winger Raul Moro, according to reports. The 18-year-old, who is currently with Lazio, has impressed at youth level for the Italian outfit but is yet to cement his place in the club’s first team.

Moro has played just one minute of senior football in his short career, coming on as a late substitute during Lazio’s league defeat to Juventus towards the end of last season.

His lack of experience has not deterred a selection of the world’s best teams from eyeing a move for the forward, who is very highly rated by his current employers.

According to local outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Moro finds himself at a ‘crossroads’ regarding his future as a result of limited first-team opportunities, with the player’s entourage keen to see his development aided by more senior minutes.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic is close to securing a loan back to former club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Jovic made a name for himself at the German side during the 2018/19 season, scoring 27 times in 48 appearances and also registering seven assists. That form was enough to convince Real to sign him for over £50m that summer.
