Roman Abramovich takes decision on sacking Frank Lampard

Chelsea board has finally take their decision as there have been calls from some quarters to sack Frank Lampard as the manager for the Blues.

The board in their decision has thrown its weight on the manager and has decided to seek more support for the former Chelsea player.

According to The Guardian, Lampard is set to be given more time to prove himself to the fans and other stakeholders of the club as a manager.

Chelsea have been finding it difficult to win matches in the ongoing English Premier League as they managed to win just one out their last six games. That is not just a good place to be and everybody is looking for possible solution to the problem of the team.

Recall that Chelsea were the busiest in the summer transfer window but may also look for more players to sign during this winter transfer window as part of possible solution.

Meanwhile, some coaches have been earlier linked with Chelsea, likeThomas Tuchel ,who was recently sacked by Paris Saint-Germain. But for now Lampard stays with Chelsea.

Their last game against Manchester City was a poor show and it has been given a lot of people concern.

Some players spoke after the match, here’s what Thiago Silva said after the game, “No, I don’t understand what’s wrong. If I understand before, I think I could have given some advice, but that’s how it is, it’s football, it’s the Premier League, one of the toughest championships around the world.”
